    ARTIFACT: This is a Massachusetts Department of Mental Health at Gardner, Massachusetts graduation pin for a practical nurse. The pin is by Dorrety of Boston and is circa 1930s. It has an enameled border and the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in relief at its center.
    VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.
    SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16"x 15/16"
    MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled, enamel.
    ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
